Before beginning with your application, please carefully read through the Open Call Requirements: 

• Theme of The Event: Asian Culture

• Performance Form: we welcome any performing arts style, including dance, music, opera, theatre and musical theatre, improv, etc

• Performance Content (at least one of the following)

  •  Works can present Asian culture or Asian arts;

  • Over 60% performers should be Asian related (Group work);

  • Performer should be Asian related (Solo work);

  • Choreographer should be Asian related (for dance work).  

Giving emerging and early-career performing artists an opportunity to showcase their talents. If selected to participate, artists should plan to show the same piece as described in their application.

We will be featuring cultural, traditional, and contemporary acts!  
Celebrate, convene, learn, reflect, and foster connections through Asian performing arts and cultures!

ACCEPTANCE & PARTICIPATION FEE
The QIAA Team selects the performances to be presented at the Showcase. Our goal is to curate an event that provides opportunities for a diverse group of artists, especially early-career performers and emerging talents. Accepted works will be notified via e-mail. $30 application fee is nonrefundable. The selected works will come with one free ticket.
