New York City Chinese Dance Company (NYCCDC)
As a subsidiary of Quadrant International Arts Association 501(c)(3) (QIAA), primarily presents Chinese classical dance and Chinese ethnic folk dance.
NYCCDC creates original works and revive classic dance repertoires, helping the various communities of New York deepen their appreciation and understanding of Chinese culture. We provide program support to communities, businesses, individuals, and other cultural institutions as well, collaborating on performances, classes, and workshops to share traditional Chinese arts. NYCCDC actively participates in performances throughout New York, bringing the rhythms of China to communities large and small.

NYCCDC has established a main dance troupe and a sub-group, catering to Chinese dance enthusiasts with or without prior dance experience. The company provides systematic and professional training for all members, offering various performance opportunities and platforms for artistic exchange. Additionally, NYCCDC organizes public training sessions for the community and actively promotes Chinese dance and traditional culture in the New York area.

Education
At NYCCDC, we are committed to making Chinese dance education accessible and engaging for diverse audiences. In addition to offering Chinese dance classes in mandarin for the local Chinese community in New York, we are developing English-based programs designed to align with Western art education systems. These programs creatively integrate elements from modern dance, African dance, hip-hop, and other styles to enrich the learning experience and broaden the appeal of Chinese dance.
